More companies are recognizing that the Port of Oshawa is the right place for doing business around the world. While the port has location, capacity and skill going for it, leadership provided by the Oshawa Port Authority has been pivotal in meeting the needs of new port customers.

Last year was an important year in the history of the port. It was the Oshawa Port Authority’s first full year, since gaining official port authority status in 2012, pursuant to the Canada Marine Act. The Oshawa Port Authority has proven it has the governance stability to lead economic growth. As a result, several new companies have chosen to invest in the Port of Oshawa.
